20.02.2018 - THE HINDU I.P. Rating - 4/5
THE EDITORIALS REALLY TOOK THE DAY ANS CCEA'S NEW COAL POLICY SHOULD BE WELL WRITTEN.SOME BITS ARE PROVIDED.

*coal mines (special provisions)act,2015
*mines and minerals (development and regulation) act,1957
As supreme court have already directed government for bringing transparency in allocation of resources(coal) and already have cancelled more than 200 coal mines, this news does seem important as we can clearly know how does this works via the fourth coming 8 core industries index by IIP. Also privatisation of natural resources should be keenly notes as mining is one such activity to be considered in natural security as it os an anthropogenic factor.
This is an example for reduction of gender partiality and in this era of empowerment of women and other weaker sections of the society these news can be used as an example.

***These are some other news bits. Important have been highlighted.
