👉HISTORICAL BACKGROUND (COI) :

M.N.ROY - first person who thought INDIA needs of constitution.

Even the present COI has it's root from GOI act,1935.

THE FOLLOWING HAVE BEEN ASKED IN PRE 2017& PRE 2016.

Indian Councils Act,1909 - Morley minto reform

GOI act,1919 = Montahu Chelmsford reform

Committees for Making of COI.

👉SALIENT FEATURES (COI) :

COI was actually the lengthist written constitution in the world , so obviouslly it has borrowed more ideas from various constitutions in the world. This is asked in prelims.

landmark cases like - kesavananda bharathi case,Minnerva mills ,.. are often asked to choose as answer .

At present COI has 1preamble , 22 parts - 395 articles , 12 schedules & 101 amendments.
